| Web/graphic Designer Based in Barbados Net Media is the next generation multimedia-experience on the net. It brings the biggest box-office hits to the Internet through a new video-on-demand service. Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for the web design needs of the company. The designer will be creating prototypes (mockups), including graphic design, site navigation and layout of content as well as convert the prototypes (mockups) in html/css. The successful candidate will be creating promotional materials and marketing tools for the company as well as liaise with the IT dept on designs. The candidate must exhibit a great degree of autonomy and artistic ability. The candidate will be asked to continuously renew design and overall content presentation in a highly competitive industry. Required skills: - Expert knowledge of Photoshop - Extensive knowledge in HTML / CSS - Proficient in layout/typographic principles - Experience in designing marketing materials (banners and landing pages) - Knowledge of Illustrator is an asset - University/College diploma in related field - Web/online marketing experience - Experience as designer a must (3-5 yrs) - Experience building sites within MVC frameworks a plus -Basic knowledge of PHP a plus -Knowledge of Javascript a plus - English ( written and spoken ) The candidate should display the following traits: - Very creative - Responsible - Hark Worker and able to work within a team - Passionate person - Loyal - Punctual | |
